The Aces love a road trip, especially when it’s to Hershey.

LM continued its winning ways in the Sweetest Place On Earth, downing Hershey High School 79-69 on Saturday evening at Milton Hershey School in the first round of the PIAA state playoffs. The last time the Aces were in town, they defeated Chester to win the 2013 state title.

The stakes were just a bit higher last March, but Saturday’s contest was certainly satisfying – and historic in its own right. With the victory, the Aces have earned state playoff wins in four consecutive seasons for the first time since 1940-43. Senior Justin McFadden became the first player in team history to be part of 100 career victories, dating back to his ninth grade season.
