Jack Carden didn’t figure too prominently in the first half for Bonner-Prendergast in Thursday night’s nonleague game with Chichester.

Seems like he was saving it for the second half and overtime. Carden knotted the game up with a late shot, then scored six of the Friars’ 10 overtime points to help Bonner edge the Eagles, 55-49.

Carden finished the game with 22 points, 20 of which came after the first half. Tyler Higgins lent him a supporting hand with 12 points. Ryan Germany-Hill hit a late 3-pointer to put the Friars up for good as part of his nine-point effort.
