Cardinal O’Hara was perfect Sunday afternoon, at least from the free throw line in the fourth quarter.
The Lions connected on 16 free throws in the final period for a 58-51 Catholic League victory over Bonner-Prendergast.
Andrew Louden and Tip Swartz made six free throws each in the fourth quarter and were a combined 13-for-13 from the foul line. O’Hara (6-16, 2-10) shot 23-for-25 as a team. Louden was 7-for-7 in the game and led all scorers with 24 points. Swartz was 6-for-6 and finished with 12 points.
Tyler Higgins paced the Friars with 15 points. Danny Ings chipped in with 13 points.
