Jawan Collins shook off foul trouble to pour in 15 points, and Travis Smith chipped in 13 as the Knights turned up their defense in the second half to top Cardinal O’Hara, 57-49, Monday night and improve their record to 7-0.
Day-Juan Henson added 11 points, and Rich Caldwell chipped in nine for the Knights (7-0), who made a run late in the third quarter to distance themselves from the Lions.
Tip Swartz scored 13 points for O’Hara, who got to within five points in the fourth quarter with the ball, but couldn’t capitalize. Zakee Griffin added 10 points for the Lions (3-3).
