Good news for Chester basketball fans. You won’t have to wait for the end of the night to see the Clippers take on Ss. Neumann-Goretti in the second day of the 9th Annual Jameer and Pete Nelson Scholastic Play-By-Play Holiday Classic at Widener University.

Sunday’s showdown between two of the top programs in the state has been moved from 9 p.m. start to a 7 p.m. tipoff. It is just one of a number of schedule changes. Penn Wood will take on Thurgood Marshall at 5:15, while Methacton plays Bartram at 8:30.

The Jameer and Pete Nelson Classic is one of eight holiday tournaments in the county this weekend, and nine in the immediate area if you include the Kobe Bryant Classic at Lower Merion. (Webmaster’s note:  We will be broadcasting the Archbishop Carroll vs Lower Merion tournament game tonight. Broadcast begins at 6:45. You can listen LIVE or on the archive immediately following the end of the game!)
