Episcopal Academy had to dig deep Friday night to get past Malvern Prep.
Nick Alikakos hit a big basket, and Mike Jolaoso made seven free throws in the fourth quarter as the Churchmen rallied for a 52-49 victory over the Friars in Inter-Ac League boys basketball action.
Jolaoso shot 8-for-9 from the free throw line, 7-for-8 in the fourth quarter, to lead EA (13-5, 4-2). He also handed out five assists. Alikakos added 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Kyleel Cosby pitched in with 10 points for the Churchmen.
