Ridley’s boys basketball team will face an opponent it hasn’t seen in, well, hours, Saturday.
The Green Raiders notched a 72-51 win over Garnet Valley Thursday, clinching a tie for second place in the Central League and a date in Saturday’s semifinal with Lower Merion … which they’ve already played twice this week.
Ryan Bollinger buried five 3-pointers, including four in the third quarter, to finish with 19 points, and Julian Wing added a season-high 19 for the Green Raiders. Brett Foster chipped in 18 for Ridley (17-5, 11-5), which split a home-and-home with Lower Merion Tuesday and Wednesday.
Griffin Morandini scored 14 points and Carl Tienabeso added 12 for Garnet Valley (8-14, 3-13).
