Jack Donaghy scored a game-high 11 points, but it was the defense of Haverford, punctuated by Sean McClatchy’s block of a potential game-winner at the buzzer, that decided a 35-34 win over Ridley Friday night.
Jimmy Roe added eight points, and Joe Ghisu chipped in seven for the Fords (2-4, 2-2 Central).
The Haverford defensive effort included holding Ridley’s Brett Foster to just seven points, while Ameer Staggs chipped in eight for the Green Raiders (2-2, 1-2).
