It took a little resilience late for Upper Darby to clinch a big Central League win.
The Royals survived the final minute of a hard-fought game, beating Springfield, 45-44, Tuesday. They got 12 points from Quadir Turner to lead the way, plus a strong effort from Nyanfor Sieh down low.
Springfield’s Jordan Collins netted 24 points, including nine in the fourth quarter. He was the lone Cougar in double figures.
