Anabel Kreydt paced a balanced attack with 10 points to lift Springfield to a 43-35 victory over Penncrest in Central League girls basketball action Friday.
Kaitlyn Kearney added nine points and Mia Valerio and Taylor Hunyet pitched in with six points each for the Cougars.
Bailey Garrison and Chloe Griffiths topped Penncrest with 10 points each.
Emily Huggins chipped in with eight.

Hoy collected 11 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists and Preuhs added 10 points, seven boards, five steals, three assists and a blocked shot to pace the Vanguards to their third straight win. Alicia Whitfield (four assists, five steals) and Melana Timmes (seven rebounds) chipped in eight points each.
