Maggie Doogan showed why she is the reigning Daily Times Player of the Year in Cardinal O’Hara’s 60-33 victory over Episcopal Academy Tuesday.
The senior forward and University of Richmond recruit scored 24 points, hitting four 3-point field goals, and had four blocked shots.
Sydni Scott chipped in with 13 points for the Lions, who jumped out to a 21-5 lead after the first quarter. Annie Welde contributed nine points and Bridget Dawson tossed in seven.
Riley Cassidy poured in a team-high 13 points for Episcopal.

Archbishop Carroll 68, West Chester Rustin 37 >> Carroll turned a five-point first quarter advantage into a 15-point cushion at halftime by outscoring Rustin 19-9 in the second period.
