Ja’Mya Muhammad delivered a career-best performance as Chester rolled past Penn Wood, 73-54, in Del Val League girls basketball action Thursday.
Muhammad erupted for a career-high 30 points while adding seven rebounds, six steals, four assists and a blocked shot for the Clippers (11-2, 4-0). Imani Dorsey contributed 19 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and five steals, while Jordan Dennis chipped in 19 points and three steals.
Taylor Morris led the Patriots with 13 points.
In the Inter-Ac League:
Germantown Academy 61, Agnes Irwin 36 >> The Patriots (13-4, 4-1) scored the first 15 points and never looked back. Gabby Bowes led all scorers with 17 points.
