Ridley’s Ryan Bollinger had a career night Wednesday, but Jordan Collins got the final say.
Collins hit a shot in the lane with three seconds left to lead Springfield to a dramatic 54-53 Central League win away from home.
Collins finished with nine points, ceding the major scoring burden to Kevin McCormick, who knocked down five 3s to finish with 21 points. Dan Wasson added season-high-tying eight points for Springfield (11-8, 7-6).
Bollinger hit seven 3-pointers to tally 26 points, including supplying 14 in the second half. Julian Wing added 11 points, and Brett Foster chipped in 10 for Ridley (13-4, 8-4), which saw a five-game winning streak snapped.
