Chichester beats Penn Wood again

Josh Hankins scored a game high 19 points as Chichester scored a second consecutive win over Penn Wood, 57-50, Thursday.

Hankins was held to just two points in Tuesday’s win for the Eagles, but he made up for that Thursday, hitting three 3-pointers in the third quarter to help Chi absorb Penn Wood’s best punch and keep them in touch, down seven entering the fourth. The Eagles outscored Penn Wood, 17-3, in the final eight minutes.

Maz Sayed added 11 points, and all six of Ramir McDowell’s points came in the fourth quarter for Chi.

Abdul Dublin scored eight of his team-high 14 points in that third quarter surge for the Patriots. Sayo Kenneth and Evan Borward scored eight a-piece.
