Chester High rallied from a double-digit deficit on the way to earning a 73-71 decision over Academy Park in a continuation of last month’s suspended Del Val League game.
The Knights were beating the Clippers by 17 points in the third quarter. Chester would go on to outscore AP, 45-28, in the second half.
Mahir Johnson paced the Clippers with 23 points, but it was Conrad Chambers (18 points) who gave the Knights fits after halftime. Tyrell Sturdivant also netted 18 points.
Kaleb Taliaferro registered 18 points and nine assists, and Jawan Collins finished with a team-high 19 points for the Knights.
