There is one full week of the high school regular season before most teams wrap up their season early next week. The District 1 schedule officially ends Feb. 10 with the committee meeting together on Feb. 11 to finalize the boys and girls brackets, decided by the district power rankings.
There are 24 spots up in the Class 6A field and 12 spots in the Class 5A bracket. No one has officially locked up a spot but the final games of the regular season certainly hold more value to some teams compared to others in ensuring their seasons continue.
