Noah Griffin’s layup with 10 seconds left in regulation would stand up in Sun Valley’s 64-63 nonleague boys basketball win over Academy Park Saturday. Kaiden Robinson had hit a 3-pointer to tie the game with 1:05 left after the Vanguards had erased a 12-point deficit. Blaise Eldridge led the way with 24 points, while Griffin scored 11 and Dino Dimidio added seven for SV. Anthony Blue scored 20 points for the Knights, while Jason Lawson added 14 points.

Pope John Paul II 66, Upper Darby 46 >> Jason Green scored 15 points to lead PJP II. Dom Demito added 13 points and Bradey Bass added 10. Upper Darby was led by Elijah Gunther’s 13 points, while TJ Jackson added nine points.
Downingtown East 73, Interboro 50 >> Chase Krupansky scored 30 points and Brendan Littlepage added 13 for the Cougars. Interboro was led by Zakhai Collins’ 14 points.
Penn Wood 61, Bartram 35 >> Lamaj Mapp scored 17 points while Kival Clarke knocked down 16 points as the Patriots won easily.
Delco Christian 63, MCCS 44 >> Brad Berwick scored a team-high 15 points while Khamai Orange, Caleb Jameson and Josiah Gaines all scored 11 points to help lead the Knights. Beau Lyren scored seven.
Episcopal Academy 72, Central Bucks South 48 >> Matt McCarthy registered 22 points and Reggie King added 12 for the Churchmen.
Church Farm 45, CCSA 40 >> Chester Charter was led by Ja’Bryl Bennett with 10 points in a tough loss. Standout freshman Chris Cook scored nine.
Ridley 45, Haverford 41 >> Jake Shaak scored 18 and Austin McCaughan added 12 points to lead the Green Raiders to a victory over the Fords late Friday night. Andrew Steigleman scored 12 and Jack Raech added 10 for the Fords.
Girls Basketball
Addie Adamski scored 14 points and Haylie Adamski added 13 to help boost Garnet Valley to a 61-28 rout of Avon Grove on Saturday. Kylie Mulholland scored 10 points and added six rebounds, four assists and four steals. Addie Adamski added four assists and two steals; Jordan Daubenberger scored nine points.
Cardinal O’Hara 54, Lancaster Catholic 41 >> Molly Rullo went off for 24 points and Joanie Quinn added 12 as the Lions won this game in the PAG Hoops Classic.
Upper Darby 45, Interboro 29 >> The Royals broke their three-game losing streak with this nonleague victory. Mia Wilson scored 12 points, while Sage Walters scored eight points with four steals and five rebounds. Madilyn Mea had 17 points for the Bucs.
