Boys & Girls: Delco Christian’s Parks and Kees combine 3 pointers for win

Delco Christian’s Josh Parks and Jace Kees were on the mark from long range Saturday.

Parks and Kees combined for eight 3-pointers and each finished with 17 points to lead the Knights to a 51-47 nonleague victory over The City School of Philadelphia.

Josh Dell’Arciprete added eight points for the Knights (7-4), who connected on 11 treys.

CHESTER 65, WILLIAM PENN 36 » The Clippers used a 41-15 run in the middle quarters en route to a one-sided victory at the Clip Joint over the visitors from York.

Breilynd White produced a game-high 12 points for Chester (8-3). Qadir Lowrie, Larenzo Jerkins and Kyree Womack added 11 points apiece.

HAVERFORD SCHOOL 61, PEDDIESCHOOL(N.J.) 50 » Dave Kearney’s 11-point output buoyed a balanced attack by the Fords, who had 11 players scored at least two points. Matt Kearney tossed in 13 points, and Billy Rayer chipped in eight.

PENNWOOD 77, BOYS’ LATIN 39 » The Patriots held a 28-4 lead after eight minutes. Evan Borward scored a game-high 14 points and Jalen Mahan had 13. Shamir Massenberg dished out nine assists to go with eight points.

POTTSGROVE 60, CHICHESTER 39 » Maz Sayed (13 points) and Zaiyin Keys (nine) paced the host Eagles, who trailed 39-16 at the break.

Girls Basketball

Kate Gallagher recorded 10 points and three steals to help Radnor to a 44-30 nonleague victory over West Chester East.

The Raptors (8-5) have reeled off four consecutive wins.

Mary Sareen added nine points, Ellie Davis eight and Ava Gummel seven.
