Malcom Strand-Young didn’t take long to introduce himself to the Ridley basketball community.
The senior, making his debut at the school, scored the game-winning bucket with two seconds left to lead the Green Raiders to a 41-40 win over Central Bucks East in a nonleague contest Friday night.
Strand-Young finished with nine points in helping Ridley overcome a terrible start that saw it go scoreless for the game’s first 7:57 and trail 14-1 after one quarter.
Brett Foster led all scorers with 13 points, and Isaiah Lester chipped in eight points for Ridley.
