Girls: Bright shines as Academy Park tops Henderson

Kiala Bright paired 16 points with five rebounds and four assists as Academy Park downed West Chester Henderson, 44-37, in a nonleague game Saturday.

Alaysia Kinlaw scored 11 points to go with seven assists and five rebounds. Emani Banks had nine points and eight rebounds in a back-and-forth affair.

Ja’Mya Muhammad paired 20 points with 18 rebounds and five steals, going 10-for-14 at the free-throw line. Imani Dorsey chipped in 17 points, 11 steals and seven rebounds, and Jordan Dennis added nine points.
