The last of the unbeatens have fallen, and the Central League is as wide open as ever.

Ridley made sure of that Tuesday, delivering Upper Darby a 44-43 defeat, the first of the season for the Royals.

Ameer Staggs did the honors, hitting the game-winning lay-in with nine seconds remaining off a feed from Malcolm Strand-Young. Strand-Young, who finished with 10 points, then stole the ball to ice the victory.

Brett Foster led Ridley (9-2, 5-1 Central) with 15 points, 10 of them in the fourth quarter, a frame in which the Green Raiders outscored Upper Darby by a 16-7 margin.

Quadir Rice led Upper Darby with 10 points, while Demetrius Timmons chipped in nine.
