Cardinal O’Hara didn’t score a point in the first quarter Saturday. The Lions trailed by 22 at the half.

They had Springfield (Delco) right where they wanted it.

Cardinal O’Hara came roaring back in the second half to defeat the Cougars, 54-53, at Haverford High’s Coaches vs. Cancer Play Day.

Liutauras Repsys, a 6-foot-10 junior center, made the second of two free throws with 2.6 seconds left to give the Lions their only lead. Ahmad Williams (12 points) tied it on a three-point play with a minute left.
