Behind a big game from Derrick Jones, the Archbishop Carroll boys basketball team spoiled Archbishop Wood’s senior day, handing the Vikings a 77-47 defeat in a Catholic League game Sunday.
Jones scored 29 points and hauled in 10 rebounds for the Patriots, who outscored Wood in the third quarter, 30-5. David Beatty drilled four 3-pointer and finished with 16 points while Ryan Daly added 12 points and seven rebounds in the blowout.
