Boys & Girls: Hicke turns it on as 13-0 Radnor handles Haverford

Jackson Hicke got hot in the second half to pace Radnor to a 58-39 victory over Haverford in Central League boys basketball action.
Hicke scored 18 of his game-high 23 points in the second half to help the Raptors outscore the Fords, 28-17. Charlie Thornton backed Hicke with 14 points. It’s Radnor’s 13th straight victory to open the season.
Googie Seidman led the Fords with 11 points. Brian Weiner pitched in with 10.

Harriton 59, Garnet Valley 54 » Jake Sniras scored 12 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough to rally the Jaguars to victory. Logan McKee pitched in with 11 points for GV.
Marquis Kubish tallied 17 points for the Rams.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Haverford School 51, Springside Chestnut Hill 50 » KJ Carson hit four 3-pointers for a game-high 14 points as the Fords eked out a league win. Duke Cloran added 10 points, and Brendan Leary chipped in nine points.

Girls Basketball

Gaeli Keffer-Scharp scored a game-high 16 points as Episcopal Academy extended its winning streak to three games with a 47-24 victory over Agnes Irwin in Inter-Ac League action. Keffer-Scharpf scored seven points in the second quarter to help the Churchwomen (3-9, 3-2) take a 28-10 lead at halftime. She added five points in the fourth quarter. Bella Notaro chipped in with 12 points. Simone Harvey led the Owls with nine points.

In the Central League:

Garnet Valley 56, Harriton 35 » Haylie Adamski paired 21 points with four steals and two assists to pace the Jaguars. Kylie Mulholland added 18 points and four helpers, while Savannah Saunders have five points, three assists and two steals.

Springfield 42, Ridley 22 »Anabel Kreydt scored 10 points to help the Cougars earn their eighth consecutive win. Mia Valerio and Lexi Aaron added nine points apiece.
Adria Kitzinger had eight points for the Green Raiders.

Haverford 60, Radnor 26 » The Fords jumped out to a 19-5 lead after one quarter and never looked back.
Caroline Dotsey led the way with a game-high 18 points and nine rebounds. Aniya Eberhart chipped in with 12 points. Rian Dotsey had nine and Mollie Carpenter contributed seven points and 13 boards. Mary Sareen topped the Raptors with 10 points.

In nonleague action:

Chester 56, McKean (Del.) 22 » J’Mya Muhammad led three players in double figures with 21 points to help the Clippers snap a six-game losing streak. Imani Dorsey chipped in with 17 points and Shyne Hall 14.
