Tienabeso puts it on the line to boost Garnet Valley

Carl Tienabeso didn’t have his usual shooting night, but when Garnet Valley needed him, he came through.

Tienabeso hit all five of his free-throw attempts in the fourth quarter en route to a 7-for-7 day at the stripe and 13 points to lead Garnet Valley to a 60-56 win over Lansdale Catholic in the Varsity Club Tournament championship game.

Andrew Louden scored 19 points to earn tournament MVP honors, and Brandon Starr’s 11 points landed him on the all-tournament team for the Jaguars (7-2).
