It was a low scoring affair with a great defensive effort from both teams but Springfield was able to find a few more baskets to pull out the 29-22 victory last night.
Kaitlyn Kearney netted a team-high 12 points (all 3-pointers) for the Cougars. Anabel Kreydt tossed in seven points and Mia Valerio contributed six. Springfield (8-2) is undefeated in the Central League.

The teams combined for 13 points in the first half and the visiting Cougars held a slight 12-11 edge after three quarters. Abbi Hinchey led the Green Raiders with seven points, while Kailyn Bell and Kyra Carney added six each.
