Ben Casanova sent Penncrest home happy on Friday night.
Moments after Garnet Valley completed a rally to tie the score, Casanova drove the baseline and hit a buzzer-beating layup to secure a 43-41 Central League boys’ basketball win for the visiting Lions.
Casanova led all players with 12 points.
Garnet Valley’s Steve Palis scored eight of his 10 points in the fourth quarter and scored to tie it at 41 with 14 seconds remaining in regulation.
