Julian Gallo was the man Saturday night.
The Interboro senior made a pair of 3-pointers in the final moments of the Bucs’ 44-40 triumph over Springfield.
One of those treys put his team ahead by two points and to stay. Gallo had eight of his 12 points in the fourth quarter.
Christian Irons also stepped up in the clutch and scored a game-high 15 points. Irons scored seven of his points in the last stanza.
The Cougars led by eight points (30-22) to start the fourth.
In the loss, Chris Strawley paced the Cougars with 14 points and Brian Allen chipped in with 12.
